This workout can be used as either a warmup, cool down or a stretch session on its own. It can be great to just take some time to stretch, during a busy day, or on a rest day.

If a workout you want to do (like most TABATA or HIIT video’s, for example) doesn’t include a warmup or cool down, please take the time to follow along with a video like this to get the blood flowing and your muscles warmed up.

This is very important: you are letting your body know that it is time to workout, this wil help to prevent injuries.

My view: this is a nice little stretch warmup workout. Yes you can use this as a cool down too, but if you are looking for a deep stretch after a really hard workout, I would advice to choose a sequence in which you’ll stay in the same position for longer periods of time (like this 15 minute full body stretch video). This video shows more dynamic stretch options, which are mostly great as a warmup.
