This is my second Joanna Soh review (this is the first one) and I just love how she provides great cardio options for beginners. If you are just starting out with working out (from home), if you’ve just had a baby (please: wait six weeks before working out again) or sustained an injury and just getting back on your feet, it can be hard.
Without the ability to jump or do anything high impact, it might feel like you are missing out. Well, I can tell you, with this workout: you are not.
What to expect: during this workout, trainer Joanna walked over 4K steps (and burned over 220 calories). Don’t think you’ll only be marching in place, though. You will move up and down, sideways and your arms will get a little work in as well. Moving everything at the same time can be a bit confusing at times, but as long as you don’t stand still, you aren’t doing anything wrong.
My view: walking is great for you. And it can truly get your heart rate up, your muscles working, can burn calories. It is also safe, easy and more versatile than you might have thought.
