This is a great beginner cardio workout. It is one step up from indoor walking, speed walking and the really basic workouts, but it is still really accessible. Especially because of the modifications that are given. You can start out taking all the modifications, keep working on yourself, come back, take a few less modifications and so on. I really like this one.

What to expect

Not all cardio needs to involve jumping, hopping, and skipping. This video’s trainer, Lauren Boggi created a workout that will get your heart rate up to burn calories without having to do any high-impact moves.

My view

This is just a great workout for what I like to call Ultimate Beginners. Whether you come back from an injury, just had a baby (please wait at least 6 weeks before you start working out again) or are overweight and just getting into working out: this is a great workout for you. Take the modifications if you need them and slowly but steadily get better, get stronger, feel better.
